Have been unable to find any account of the conflict but Google Books has a snippet in New Army List Militia List 1881 which refers to the service of a Lt Col T.N.Walker of 17th Punjab Infantry who was at battles at Amsoth, Bagawalla and Nugeega (sic). Bhaguwala is on the road between Amsot and Nagina (sic).
