The Hathua Sugar Factory, Hathua, Gopalganj District, Bihar was incorporated by SKG Sugar Ltd in 1933 <ref name =darvill>“Industrial Railways and Locomotives of India and South Asia” compliled by Simon Darvill. The works had a metre gauge([[Rail_gauge_#Metre_Gauge|MG]]) connection to the [[Bengal and North-Western Railway]](B&NWR) 'Bachhwara-Bahaha Branch Line' <ref name =darvill/>.

There was also a works 2ft/610mm narrow gauge([[Rail_gauge#Narrow_Gauge|NG]]) railway with locomotives dating from 1917 to 1925 but further details unknown <ref name =darvill/>.
