Chronology
- 1803 raised as Bombay Squadron of Cavalry by Colonel John Murray
- 1803 split into 1st and 2nd Bombay Light Cavalry
- 1842 became 2nd Regiment of Bombay Light Cavalry (Lancers)
- 1903 became the 32nd Lancers
- 1923 amalgamated with the 31st Duke of Connaught's Own Lancers to become 13th Duke of Connaught's Own Lancers
- 1947 allocated to Pakistan on Partition becoming 13th Lancers
