The '''Santahar-Kaunia Loop Railway''' was a metre gauge([[Rail_gauge_#Metre_Gauge|MG]]) line that was completed in 1905 becoming part of the [[Eastern Bengal Railway]](EBR) network.
The original section from [[Santahar]] to [[Bonapara]], a distance of 51 miles(82km) , opened in 1899-1900 and originally part of as the [[Brahmaputra-Sultanpur Railway]], being worked by [[Eastern Bengal Railway]](EBR).
