A Lance-Duffardar or Lance Duffardar or Lance-Duffadar or Lance Duffadar was a non commissioned cavalry officer in the Indian Army.
His rank was equivalent to that of a corporal and he wore two chevrons on his arm.
An acting Lance Duffardar would only wear one chevron.
