If you are trying to find the location of a specific church in South India, you could write to the diocese and they will give you the postal address and the pastor's name. If you're not sure which diocese to write to, you could email me and I may be able to offer a suggestion. Note that in many cases, the original pre-Independence records are kept in the Diocesan office itself.
