The Nowgong Mounted Rifles were a volunteer corps based in Nowgong in Assam.
Chronology
- 1888 raised as Nowgong Mounted Rifles on 27th July[1]
- 1891 amalgamated on 6th November with several other corps to become the Assam Valley Mounted Rifles[2]
