1767 became The Amboor Battalion
1769 became the 11th Carnatic Battalion
1770 became the 10th Carnatic Battalion
1784 became the 10th Madras Battalion
1796 became 1st Battalion, 10th Madras Native Infantry
1824 became the 10th Regiment of Madras Native Infantry
1885 became the 10th Regiment of Madras Infantry
1890 officially disbanded but in reality amalgamated with The Kubo Military Police Battalion to form 1st Regiment of Burma Infantry
