The Chota Nagpur Regiment were a mounted auxiliary regiment.

1891 raised as the Chota Nagpur Mounted Rifles on the 7th August ^[1] by W.H.Grimley^[2]
1810 reconstituted Chota Nagpur Light Horse 2nd March^[3]
1917 became the Chota Nagpur Regiment, 1st April^[3]
