Kolar Gold Fields

A city in the south-east of Kolar District, Mysore State, which was a [[Princely states|Princely State]]. The city , located 98km from [[Bangalore]], was established in 1887, and now produces all of India's goldMining companies included Mysore, Champion Reef, Ooregum, Nundydroog and Balaghat.
