History

Hunza Nagar Campaign 1891
Hunza was an independent state until it merged with Pakistan in 1974. Its ruler, Muhammad Jamal Khan, had earlier signed the Instruments of Accession to Pakistan and acceded on 3rd November 1947.[1]
