The India List was published quarterly for much of British rule in India by the India Office for much of British rule in India. It gave the names and positions of all senior officials and officers of the India Office, the Indian Government, the Indian Army and the British Army in India.
An annual version was also published giving more detail on a subset of these officials.
Incomplete runs are held in the British Library APAC collection (India Office Library)(admission restricted), the Cambridge University Library (admission restricted) and elsewhere.
