Chronology
- 1885 raised as 7th Bombay Cavalry (Jacob-Ka-Rissallah)
- 1886 became 7th Bombay Cavalry (Belooch Horse)
- 1890 became 7th Bombay Lancers (Belooch Horse)
- 1903 became 37th Lancers (Baluch Horse)
- 1922 amalgamated with the 17th Cavalry to become 15th Lancers
