- 1885 became 30th (Punjab) Bengal Infantry
- 1901 became 30th Punjab Infantry
- 1904 became 30th Punjabis
- 1922 became 1st/16th Punjab Regiment
- 1947 allocated to Pakistan on Partition
- 1956 became 13 Punjab
