The Mahar Regiment was an infantry regiment raised during the Second World War
- 1st Battalion of the Mahar Regiment was raised in Belgaum in October 1941
- The 2nd Battalion was raised in Kamptee in June 1942
- The Third Battalion, the 25th Mahars, was raised in Belgaum in the August 1942
- 3rd Mahars were raised in Nowshera[1]
