The Bengal Central Railway (BCR) was an un-guaranteed company formed in 1881 to build and operate a broad gauge railway from Bangaon via Jessore to Khulna.
History
The BCR opened between 1882 and 1884. It was merged with the Eastern Bengal State Railway in 1904.
