1890 became 4th (Prince Albert Victor's) Bengal Infantry
1897 became 4th (Prince Albert Victor's) Rajput Regiment, Bengal Infantry
1901 became 4th (Prince Albert Victor's) Rajput Infantry
1922 became 2nd Battalion 7th Rajput Regiment
1947 allocated to India on Partition and renamed the Rajput Regiment
