• 1784 became 13th Madras Battalion
• 1796 became 2nd Battalion, 3rd Madras Native Infantry
• 1824 became 13th Madras Native Infantry
• 1885 became 13th Madras Infantry
• 1903 became 73rd Carnatic Infantry
• 1922 became 1st/3rd Madras Regiment
• 1928 became 11th Battalion Madras Pioneers
• 1933 became 11th Madras Battalion ITF
• 1947 allocated to India on Partition
