The Tarkessur Railway (also named the Tarakeshwar and Tarakeswar Railways) was a short (22 mile) broad gauge branch line which ran from Howrah to the pilgrimage centre of Tarakeshwar.
The line was owned by Tarkessur Railway Co and worked by East Indian Railway(EIR)as part of the EIR network.
