Bina was a railway junction in Saugor District, Central Provinces, two miles from the town of Etawa. The main line of the Indian Midland section of the Great Indian Peninsula Railway from Itarsi to Cawnpore and Agra passed Bina and was connected here with the Katni junction on the East Indian Railway by a branch line through Saugor. It was also on the Bina-Goona-Baran Railway.

“A number of railway officials reside here and form a company of volunteers”
