Location

It was located 3 miles from Jamrud Fort in the Khyber Pass.

History

In 1897, it along with Ali Masjid, was attacked by the local tribesmen. A detachment of about 40 men of the Khaibar Rifles held out for some time. However, they withdrew and the fort was ultimately burnt down.[1]
