Jallo Turpentine & Resin Distillery Tramway

The Government operated a 'Turpentine & Resin Distillery' at Jallo in the Lahore District.

The records show that a hand worked Tramway of unknown gauge was laid between the distillery and the North Western Railway(NWR) mainline station at Jallo, the line was 24 chains (482 metres) in length. There was also a short elevated tramway used for moving resin into the factory to the mixing vats. Both Tramways were in use in April 1916 [1].
