Comment on Battle Location

Can’t find any reference to this location or conflict. Battles & Actions in British India 1600-1900 records it being near Agra with date as 5 July 1857 and the commander as Brig Pole. The entry for Shahgunge is also near Agra with date as 5 July 1857 and commander as Brig Polwhele. Shahganj was a suburb of Agra and Polwhele was its commander then. Is this a confusion?--Sy 09:44, 10 August 2008 (PDT)

Have now established that this is the same as Battle of Shahgunge which took place near Sussia four miles from Agra on the Fatepur Sikri Road.--Sy 09:12, 24 December 2008 (PST)
