== Akouk-taung ==Hill forming the eastern extremity of a spur of the Arakan Yoma Mountains, Henzada District, British Burma. Lat. 18° 29' 45" N, Long. 95° 10' 45" E. Overhangs the river Irawadi, which a little lower enters the delta, and spreads out into creeks and bifurcations. The scarped cliff (300 feet high) is honeycombed with excavated caves, containing images of Buddha.
