The account of the 1857 expedition against the Bozdari describes their territory being in the Suleiman Range approached by a pass 8 miles west of Mangrotha which is near Taunsa 50 miles north of Dera Ghazi Khan,Punjab. Their strong point was located 10 miles up the pass. This was the major action of the Bozdari Expedition forcing the Mangrotha Pass via the Sungurh and Droog Nullahs. Coordinates are approximate.
