APAC Film Numbers Explained

N = Returns of Baptisms, marriages and burials

1 = Bengal

2 = Madras

3 = Bombay

So N/1 is the Bengal returns for baptisms, marriages & burials, N/2 the Madras returns and N/3 the Bombay returns.

Next follows the volume number.

Example: N/1/123 = Bengal Baptisms volume 123.
