1922 became 4th Battalion 13th Frontier Force Rifles
1945 became 4th Battalion The Frontier Force Rifles
1947 allocated to Pakistan on partition
1957 amalgamated with The Pathan Regiment and the Frontier Force Regiment to form the new Frontier Force Regiment (10th Battalion)
