1865 became 6th Punjab Infantry Regiment
1903 became 59th Scinde Rifles (Frontier Force)
1921 became 59th Royal Scinde Rifles (Frontier Force)
1922 became 6th Battalion 13th Frontier Force Rifles
1945 became 1st Battalion The Frontier Force Rifles
1947 allocated to Pakistan on partition
1957 became 1st battalion Frontier Force Regiment
