Originally raised from the Bombay Volunteer Artillery on the 1st April 1902 and then became the No. 3 Electrical Engineer Company on the 1st April 1917. Became No. 3 (Bombay) Field Company on the 1st October 1920 before being reconstituted as the No. 3 (Bombay) Fortress Company on 13th April 1933.
