Talk:Battle of Kewtee
Comment on Battle Location
Brig Faddy's despatch traces his route from Rewa to Chachai and Sirmaur and describes the Mahana Nadi. These are highlighted on the location map. There is a village called Kevati nearby. This may well be the Kewtee (Kewatee) referred to. Faddy's despatch refers to Kentee. This may be a mistranscription from his handwriting of Keutee, another variant.--Sy 11:10, 2 October 2008 (PDT)
Spelling Variants
Modern name: Kevati
