The Delhi-Samasatta Railway was opened in 1897 by the Southern Punjab Railway Company(SPR) connecting #REDIRECT Delhi with Samasatta via Bhatinda. The line passed through Muktasar and Fazilka and provided direct connection through Samasatta (now in Pakistan) to Karachi. The Macleodganj -Samasata Railway extension from Macleodganj (later renamed Mandi Sadiqganj and now in Pakistan) to Ludhiana was opened by the SPR in 1905. == External Links==*Wikipedia
