The [[Bengal-Nagpur Railway]] broad gauge([[Rail_gauge#Broad_Gauge|BG]]) ‘Badampahar Spur’ was constructed as a branch from ‘Kalimatithe [[Kalimati-Gorumahisani Extension Railway’ Railway]] from Kalimati (now called Tatanagar JuctionJunction, 5km south of [[Jamshedpur]]) where it connected to the [[Jamshedpur Steel Works Railway]]. The date of opening of this spur is unknown but probably 1922, the date the mine became operational.
