BranchThe Barharwa–Azimganj–Katwa Railway constructed the Barharwa–Azimganj–Katwa loop line in 1913.This was a branch of the [[East Indian Railway]](EIR) which worked this line. It was a branch/Loop lLoop line extension to [[Hooghly-Katwa Rly worked by Railway]] and finally absorbed into the EIR(qv)network.
