== Synopsis ==
Pollock and his army arrived at [[Gundamak]] from [[Jalalabad]] on 23 August. The next day they encountered a force of Ooloo tribesmen at Mammoo Khail about two miles away. They drove the enemy from the nearby heights and captured the surrounding forts and villages.
