Changes

This is a list of the Roman Catholic Churches in the neighbourhood of Madras taken from ''An Outline of the History of the Archdiocese of Madras & Mylapore'' by Dr. R. ARULAPPA, Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore (1986). It was transcribed by Peter Bailey of the UK in December 1999. Peter has indicated the rough locations as a distance and direction from Fort St. George where he has been able to find them. Some 'well-known' churches seem no longer to be functional (e.g. St. Roch nr. the Monegar Choultry) and are missing.
