:The Preface says Wilson was the editor of a work brought together by the Publics Work Department "a special officer being deputed for the work". Elsewhere it has been stated there are were a limited number of copies of the "original version" of 1895 by the special officer E S Wenger 1895, who was Registrar of the Bengal Public Works Department.<ref>Correspondence from Rev.
