The '''Chaparmukh-Silghat Railway''' was a privately constructed and financed broad gauge([[Rail_gauge#Broad_Gauge|BG]]) branch line, worked by [[Assam-Bengal Railway]](ABR). The line between [[Chaparmukh]] and [[Silghat]] , a distance of 50 miles(80km) was sanctioned for construction in October 1915.
