The 'Ranjewan Charanpore Colliery' was near Sitarampur, 6km north-west of 7½ miles(12km) from [[Asansol]], being the western part of the [[Raniganj]] Coalfield. A line ran from the Colliery to the [[East Indian Railway]](EIR) at Sitarampur to Asansol Station, distance unknown.
