The '''Ellichpur-Murtazapur-Yeotmal Railway ''' ran from [[Ellichpur]]+ to [[Yeotmal]]+. The 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge([[Rail_gauge#Narrow_Gauge|NG]]) line from Yeotmal was opened in 1903 to convey cotton to [[Murtazapur]] where it met the main broad gauge([[Rail_gauge#Broad_Gauge|BG]]) line. The line was extended to Ellichpur from Murtazapur in 1913 and constructed by [[GIPR|Great Indian Peninsular Railway]] (GIPR), who worked the line until taken over by the Government of India([[Government of India |GoI]]) in 1925.
