The '''Faridpur Branch Railway'''was a [[Eastern Bengal Railway]](EBR) branch line. The line opened in 1898-99. It was a branch of the [[Poradah Branch Railway]] that had been constructed by [[Northern Bengal State Railway]](NBSR) but worked by EBR, later apparently taken over by EBR c.1913
