E.I.R. Howrah
2. Helen Leggatt - I would love to be involved having researched my family history in the Jamalpur Railway Workshops from early 1900's through to 1948.
3. Mike Pearce - yes I also would like to be involved, particularly in respect of East Indian Railway (E.I.R.) My interst involves the Howrah Carriage & Wagon works established by Robert Webb Pearce in 1855. The Locomotive constuction was moved to Jamalpur in the early 1860's (ref. Helen's interest above). C&W continued at Howrah until 1900 when it moved to Liluah.
