'''Igatpuri''' is was a town in the Nasik District during the British period. See [[Bombay Districts]]. It was situated on the previous [[Great Indian Peninsula Railway]], (now the [[Central Railway]]), 35 miles south-west of [[Nasik ]] and 85 miles from [[Bombay (City)|Bombay ]] and is was a major railway station. The railway station which included a locomotive workshop.
