OIOC now known as APAC
"IGI" stands for International Genealogical Index. It is an index of baptisms, marriages and burials compiled by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from original records and microfilms. This is available to search online at their familysearch.com website.
Batch numbers beginning with "C" are christenings and those beginning with "M" are marriages. They are normally taken from Parish Registers. If there are no letters at the beginning of the batch number then they have been submitted by a LDS member and are therefore not necessarily from Parish registers. The number given to the batch is just alotted by the LDS computer. It does not correspond with the OIOC [[APAC]] shelfmark.
