Microfilm of transcripts of baptisms, marriages, and burials from Catholic churches in the presidencies of [[Bengal]], [[Madras]], and [[Bombay]].
The presidencies of [[Bengal]], [[Madras ]] and [[Bombay ]] cover nearly all the present-day India, [[Bangladesh ]] and parts of [[Pakistan]].
From 1885 to 1890 a check was made of the original ecclesiastical registers of baptisms, marriages and burials with the records at the office in Madras. This record gives the omissions and corrections. The information is arranged by towns.
The Presidency of [[Madras ]] mainly included the present-day states of [[Andhra Pradesh ]] and [[Tamil Nadu]].
