The [[Lucknow-Bareilly State Railway]] was amalgamated in 1943 with the [[Bengal and North-Western Railway]](B&NWR and the [[Rohilkund and Kumaon Railway]] (R&KR) to form the [[Oudh and Tirhut Railway]](O&TR).
