The line was owned by the [[Indian General Navigation and Railway Company]] but was worked by the [[Eastern Bengal Railway]](EBR).

*[[Jamalpur]] (59 miles/90km from Mymensingh)was the junction with the Bahadurabad branch, opened after 1911 which ran to Bahadurabad (25 miles/40km)
*[[Jagannath]] (20 miles/32km from Jamalpur) where it connected with a steamer station on River Jamuna
 
The Mymensingh-Jamalpur-Jagannath Railway was acquired by the State in the 1920’s and the management passed to [[Eastern Bengal Railway]](EBR).
