''The Englishman's Overland Mail'' printed in Calcutta, "Published for Transmission to England" was first published on the 9 January 1864. The title changed in 1891 to ''The Englishman''. ''Englishman's Weekly Journal'' and ''Englishman's Saturday Evening Journal'' also came from the same publisher, and it seems likely these titles were sold in Calcutta for local readers on the same dates as ''Englishman's Overland Mail'', but may have had additional or different content.
