*Mrs Adela Cottle (born Adela Collins) (1861-1940) [http://www.victorianwars.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6395 Victorian Wars Forum thread] dated 1 January 2012. She was active in the St John Ambulance Brigade and the Red Cross in Calcutta, for over forty years, particularly during World War 1 and the post war period.
