However it does not now seem possible to your home computerdownload a book (as was previously possible). If the catalogue reference indicates '"Access Level Protected ", it is not stated who, if anyone, can access'the book. For members of the public the access message is "Due to copyright restrictions, this book cannot be viewed online". There are limited number of books where the Access Level is "Member Permission" where the access message is "This book may only be viewed online at the Family History Library, a family history center, or one of FamilySearch’s partner libraries".
