A '''Risaldar''' is an Indian Cavalry officer and commander of a cavalry troop. The Risaldar ranks between a [[Risaldar-Major]] and a [[Jemadar]]. The rank is equivalent to [[Captain]] First Lieutenant in the [[British Army]] and a [[Subadar]] in the Indian Infantry.
